Every October, the world shines a little pinker as we honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s a time to celebrate survivors, support those in treatment, and remember the loved ones we’ve lost.

For me, this month is deeply personal. My father’s battle with colon cancer showed me firsthand the courage, exhaustion, and quiet strength that come with a cancer journey. I spent countless hours at chemotherapy sessions, doctor’s appointments, and later hospice care. And through it all, I discovered how even the smallest rituals—like sharing a cup of organic loose-leaf tea—can bring comfort, calm, and connection.

Tea is more than a beverage. It’s a healing ritual. A steaming cup can soothe anxious hearts, offer a pause in the chaos, and remind us that wellness isn’t just physical—it’s emotional and spiritual, too.
